The D6 Galvanised Yard Gate is 10 feet in length. Made from hot dip galvanise it is hardwearing, sturdy and robust. Hot-dip galvanisation is the process of coating iron and steel in a bath of molten zinc at a temperature of around 449 degrees Celsius. Suitable for all feeding yards, housing yards and road gateways the 6-bar gate is ideal for every area of your farm. Heavy duty and hardwearing, they should be hung correctly from a stable post which has been carefully positioned into suitable ground.

Before hanging a gate, decide which way you want the gate to swing and examine the condition of the ground where the post will be placed. Bent and rusty gates should be replaced to avoid injury and animals breaking out. If you wish to paint the D6 gate always use a water-based primer as an oil base can interact with the zinc in the galvanised metal and cause it to peel.
