Characteristics of corrugated pales for security palisade fences:

• Security palisade fence pales are corrugated with fastener head protection.
• Pales relevant load/deflection: the maximum deflection at the middle of the span under a test load of 3.5 kN shall not exceed 10 mm.
• The maximum spacing of pales centre to centre: 155 mm.
• The minimum face to view (width): 70 mm.

Additional security to palisade fencing

1. Burrowing
   1. Pales are extended by 150 mm and embedded in the concrete sill.
   2. Pales are extended by 350 mm and buried in the ground.
2. Pale removal
   To increase resistance to pale removal, an additional rail fixed to the pales 100 mm from the bottom of the pales
3. Topping
   For further security against climbing, a spiked topping, barbed wire lines, or barbed tape concertina can be fixed to the pales.

Palisade Pale Heads - we most commonly supply palisade fencing with a triple point splayed head. This is because palisade fencingis most commonly used as a perimeter security fence. Therefore one of its main requirements is to deter and stop intruders. The triplepoint splayed pale head is the most effective at providing a high security fence line due to its fierce looking nature. The splayed sharpsteel head is incredibly dificult & dangerous to climb over. We also offer rounded and round & notched pale heads upon request.These palisade pale heads are stll sharp steel heads, that present a formidable fencing line. however they cover less ot the tenceline as they are not splayed.
